Thank you for making that clear, though I agree...your point will probably not be heard. I personally am offended that they are trying to make us seem uncaring for those children's deaths. I have not yet met ANY handmade artist who said, "aw screw it, their safety isn't important". On the contrary, most of us started because we were tired of toxic toys and wanted to creat beautiful, safe things for our own children and others. All the families affected by toxic and unsafe toys will forever be changed. But I have spoken to parents who WERE affected and even they say CPSIA is ridiculous and does not help their situation. To imply that you or any of us are unconcerned with kids safety is a slap in the face and makes me even more sad. And interesting all cases cited....not a one was a handmade toy.
